Growing up I competed in swimming, running, and gymnastics until high school. During undergrad, I joined the Triathlon club at Appalachian State where I competed for two years. After several injuries, I realized I needed to diversify my workouts and add weightlifting for injury prevention. I found out about CrossFit after taking a CrossFit PE class during undergrad. I loved the incorporation of strength and endurance as well as gymnastics. I started training at a gym near campus in 2019 and found CrossFit Dilworth when I moved to Charlotte in 2022. Currently, I rotate between hiking, CrossFit, hot yoga, and Pilates. As a coach, I try to teach the importance of mobility and listening to your body while also pushing yourself.
