About Coach

Brandon discovered CrossFit in 2008 to supplement his Rugby training, and then began coaching in 2010. He then qualified and competed in the Mid Atlantic Regionals in 2013 as an individual, which kickstarted his competitive journey in CF. He qualified and competed at the CrossFit Games as a team member in 2015 & 2016 with CF Rising Ballantyne. Brandon enjoyed sports growing up specifically rugby and wrestling, and coaching CrossFit gives him that outlet for his love of sports and athletic challenges. Brandon now works full-time as a Charlotte Firefighter, and has the same dedication and motivation in his firefighting career as he did in his competition days. When he is not at the fire station or at the gym, he enjoys hanging out at home with his 3 daughters Remi, Rylee and Ruby, and wife Gracie.

Motivation & Passion

Brandon has a special gift for coaching and has always enjoyed it for as long as he can remember. He encourages athletes to have confidence in their abilities and works with them to improve upon their individual deficiencies by focusing on increasing mobility, flexibility and drilling proper movement patterns. Besides being a firm believer in the CrossFit principles and methodologies, he loves the camaraderie and community that CrossFit offers.
